Bioinformatics in high school
The Luxembourgish research agency, Fonds National de la Recherche (FNR), organized the 2017 edition of 'chercheur a l'ecole' - where researcher pay a visit to high school students to share their passion about science .
Marouen, RSG Luxembourg board member took part in the event and visited a computer science class at the Lycee technique d'Esch-sur-Alzette. There he told students about career opportunities in bioinformatics and the academic tracks that lead to bioinformatics, notably in Luxembourg.
The visit reinforces the engagement of RSG Luxembourg in raising the awareness of the public towards the role of bioinformatics in modern science and health.
The educational componenent of the outreach activities of RSG Luxembourg is actively supported by Fondation Emile-Metz Tesch (FVEMT), that promotes education and professional development.
